Is My Custom Hatz associated with us?

MyCustomHatz.com is our site too. Its a site dedicated to caps. We started our business selling hats but frequently got a lot of request for other items such as jackets, hoodies, polos etc.. So we are slowly making the shift.

Where are we located?

We’re located in Mackinaw, Illinois and operate out of a dedicated 30x40 shop in Central Illinois. For privacy reasons we don’t list our address publicly, but we are a real, local business running production right here in Illinois every day.

Ordering

What is the digitize / art setup fee?

A digitize / art setup fee is a one-time charge to convert your artwork into an embroidery file. This file tells our machine which thread colors to use and exactly where to stitch. On orders of 6+ the fee is waived. Repeat orders using the same artwork usually do not require another setup fee.

WilI I get proof before you start my order?

After you place your order, we’ll send your logo to be digitized. Most digitizing takes about 3 business days, depending on design complexity.

  • Orders of 5 or less: you’ll receive a digital mockup for approval.
  • Orders of 6 or more: you’ll receive a photo of an actual stitch-out for approval.

Once approved, your order goes into our production queue for fulfillment.

What is your turnaround time?

On average, orders ship out between 3-5 days after you approve the proof.

Do you have to order my items to start?

Most hats are kept in stock. Other garments are ordered as needed to keep inventory costs down. In most cases, items arrive within 1–2 business days.

Do you have a minimum order price.

There’s no minimum order—you can order just one item. We do recommend ordering multiple items to help spread out the one-time digitizing/art setup fee. For repeat orders using the same artwork, there’s no additional setup fee since we already have your file on hand.

Is there a size limitation for hat designs?

Most front-center hat designs can be up to 5.00” wide x 2.35” high. Side panel designs can be up to 2.85” wide x 2.40” high.

Do you only offered what is on your site?

Don’t see what you’re looking for? Let us know—we can add it for you to order. We’re always adding new items.

Can you do 3D puff embroidery

Yes—we offer 3D puff embroidery. Not all logos work well for puff, so please reach out before or after you place your order so we can confirm it’s a good fit. 3D puff includes an additional fee.

Shipping

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to the United States

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Once we release the package to the carrier we lose all control.

Who do you use as your shipper?

We ship with USPS (United State Postal Service) to help keep cost down.

Do you offer FREE shipping?

Yes FREE shipping is included when orders are more than $100

What happens when the carrier returns the package back to you?

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. If an order must be re-shipped due to an incorrect address, the cost of the new shipping label will be the customer’s responsibility.

Returns and Refunds

What is your RETURN policy

Because each item is custom-decorated with your logo, we do not accept returns. To ensure everything is correct, we take every measure to provide an approval (digital mockup and/or stitch-out photo) before we begin full production.

What is your EXCHANGE policy?

Because personalized items can’t be resold, we can’t accept exchanges on custom orders. If it’s one of our in-stock designs, we may allow an exchange case by case. Approved exchanges have a $12.50 fee, which includes a prepaid return label and a replacement hat shipped to you.
